Pinky

My story

This sweet and gentle kitty has been diagnosed with early-stage heart disease, including an enlarged heart and a small valve leak. While it sounds scary, he’s currently doing well and feeling good, thanks to medication that helps support his heart. This condition isn’t curable, but with regular vet care and daily meds, many cats like him can enjoy life and thrive for months or even years. Pinky is not in heart failure, and he still has got lots of love to give. He just needs someone special who’s willing to help him stay comfy and cared for. Pinky might be a little shy, but don’t let that fool you. This 1-and-a- half-year-old sweetheart is just playing hard to get! At first he didn’t step out of his crate, but graciously accepted love and pats like a true gentleman. And he’s been spotted devouring his wet food like he was on a mission. If you're looking for a sweet, soft-hearted kitty who just needs a little patience (and a lot of wet food), Pinky is your guy! Pinky is being fostered in Somerville.
