My story

Meet Ajax—affectionately known as “Jax”—a handsome boxer mix with a striking brindle coat and a heart full of love. This affectionate goofball is ready to steal your heart and fill your life with play, snuggles, and nonstop charm. Whether he’s romping in the yard, wrestling with a canine buddy, or curling up for a well-earned nap, Ajax lives every moment to the fullest. He’s kennel and potty trained, knows how to sit, and is eager to please—though he’s still brushing up on his leash manners. When he first heads out for walks, he’s full of excited energy, but he settles down quickly and becomes a fantastic walking companion. Ajax thrives on human attention and is a total cuddlebug who just wants to be close to his people. Due to a past incident involving an overexcited interaction, Ajax may do best as the only dog in the home or with a confident, well-matched companion after slow, thoughtful introductions. He previously lived in a home with children and did well. He may do best in a home with older kiddos, as his strength and enthusiasm can be a bit much for little ones.
