My story

Meet Lilo! Her previous family says she can be a little shy with new people at first, but once she gets to know you, she warms fast. Lilo enjoys making biscuits with her paws, coming out to say hello when she wants attention, and never says no to a tasty treat. She’s lived peacefully with two other cats and has done well with kids too. With a bit of patience and a lot of love, Lilo will reward you with head bumps, happy paws, and the sweet comfort of her quiet companionship. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted kitty who will warm up to become your cozy couch buddy, come meet Lilo today! Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. We are often on the line with another client, but we return voice mail and emails within 24 hours. All cat adoption fees include; -spay/neuter -rabies vaccine -current distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -FeLV/FIV blood test -microchip implanted & registered to the adopter -treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites -veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin -free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your new pet.
