My story

Hi! My name is Gidget and I’m a 3-year-old, 5-pound darling looking for my forever family. When my elderly owner passed away, there was no one to take care of me or my two best friends, Dante and Russell. Thankfully, the wonderful folks at Releash Atlanta stepped in to help us! I’m housebroken, great on a leash, and I adore other dogs. Seriously—I’m a social butterfly! I share a fenced yard with my foster siblings and love zooming around with them. I haven’t met a cat yet, but my foster mom thinks I’ll be just fine with one. Fun facts about me: • I’m not a fan of crates—I prefer cuddling with my people or snuggling in a bed with my BFF, Lily. • I love sleeping under the covers or cozied up next to another pup at night. • Car rides? Count me in! I sit like a good girl in my car seat, but I’d sneak onto your lap if you let me! • I’m a tiny dog with a big heart, so please leash walk me and never leave me alone outside—owls and hawks might think I’m a snack! I’m not yappy, but I will alert you if I hear something—I’m tiny but I’ve got your back. Oh, and I’m probably a Chihuahua mix, which might explain why I’m named after the Taco Bell dog! Thank you for your interest in one of our furry kids! Adopting from Releash Atlanta means you will adopt a dog that has been fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped and medically cleared!! While we make our best guesses, we often don’t know what breeds our kiddos are made of. We cannot guarantee our guesses will always be right but CAN guarantee they are 100% good dogs!
