--FOSTER PUPDATE--Rory McCharm A17266760 lb. neutered male, approx 3 years old Rory is a sweet, smart, and playful pup who’s ready to find his forever home! He’s about 60 pounds of love, loyalty, and pure potential. Rory is looking for an adopter with some dog experience who can keep up with his active lifestyle and continue to reinforce his already solid foundation of good manners.House and Crate TrainedRory is completely potty trained – not a single accident in his foster home! He’s also crate trained and will happily go to his crate with a little direction.Dog Friendly (with slow and proper intros)Rory enjoys the company of other dogs and does well with slow, proper introductions. He’s playful and respectful, and would likely enjoy a canine companion to romp with!Active & AffectionateRory has a playful energy and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard or with an adopter who enjoys running or is committed to regular exercise. He’s also a champion cuddler and loves nothing more than belly rubs, ear scratches, and snoozing near his humans after playtime.Good on Leash & Learning FastHe walks decently on a leash and responds well to corrections if he gets excited and pulls. He’s highly treat-motivated (“snackie” is his favorite word!) and is very responsive to training – he already knows sit (with voice or hand signal), paw, leave it, off, and in your crate.People-Loving PupRory adores people and greets everyone with enthusiasm. While his foster hasn’t had the chance to observe him around kids, his affectionate nature suggests he could do well with older children who are comfortable around a larger, energetic dog.Excellent Car CompanionWhether it's a vet trip or a new adventure, Rory is a great co-pilot! He rode calmly in the passenger seat when leaving the shelter and made a great impression – no squirming, no climbing, just being his best boy self.Training NotesRory used to get a bit jumpy when excited, but has made big strides with consistent training. He may need a little reinforcement in a new home, but he’s eager to please and learns quickly. His occasional mouthy behavior has also improved significantly and continues to fade with consistency and redirection.Rory is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to bring love, laughter, and loyalty into your life. Even better? His adoption fee is already sponsored! This pet is in a foster home!
