Phalanx A17744652 lb. spayed female, approx 1 year old -She starts off a little nervous and cautiously approached and explored everything outside-Once she got a little bit comfortable she came over to me and very gently came up onto my lap-Once I started petting her she got super excited in puppy energy fashion and was zooming all over the place-She chases toys but really doesn’t have any idea what to do with them-She is super treat motivated, sits and takes them very gently-She loves to wiggle around in your lap for pets and belly rubs-She’s affectionate and gives kisses-Good girl!-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Phalanx, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
