My story

MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Have a soft spot in your heart for pups who may need some extra love and attention? Well, then Honey is your girl. Honey is a 3-year-old Rat Terrier mix looking for a new beginning. Honey was picked up as a stray by CACC before making her way to MBR. Honey had a rough start to her life and arrived very underweight. Although she currently only weighs around 17lbs, she is eating well and packing on those much-needed pounds! As with any other dog who got off to a rough start, Honey could use some additional work with crate and potty training. She is progressing well with both but does need ongoing/consistent training and frequent potty breaks. While she does walk ok on a leash, she can get vocal when she comes across a stranger (person or dog). Honey plays well with other dogs and would love a canine companion to wrestle with! She also enjoys chewing on bones and will occasionally snag a stuffed toy or two. This girl LOVES to eat, as with most pups picked up as strays, and is gaining weight well! She would love a yard to run around in as well as a warm lap to snuggle in once playtime is done. If Honey has warmed your heart, fill out an application now to be her forever home. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.
