My story

MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Hi I’m Sherman! MBR saved me after hearing I got hit by a car and needed help. I’m super tough, though! Car - 0, Sherman - 1. I’m kinda like Superman, except I’m a Jack Russel/Pit Mix and weigh around 45 pounds. Speaking of Superman I’m just as fast as he is. I’ll gladly show you how I zoom around the yard with 2 legged friends, or after a bird, and if you toss me a ball, I’ll collect it quickly! I love toys! Any toy you’ve got, I want it. Tug-of-War? Love it! Fetch? I’m down! Stuffies? I can whip them around at high speed, just wait! I was born around 10/31/24. I’m still very young so my ears are more for show right now and not so much for listening. I can be a little stubborn according to my foster mom. She always tells me that I have to think before I do. Since I’m super duper fast, small kids that haven’t earned their sea legs may not be a good match for my energy just yet. I’m still working on potty training but getting better every day! I love adventure and I’m also learning how to go for walks nicely while on a leash. I’m a wonderful boy in my crate and keep it squeaky clean. I’m not much of a couch potato - I’m just too speedy for that, but with the right person, I wouldn’t mind sitting on your lap for a quick break from playtime. I would love an active family that is willing to continue to help me learn how to be the best version of myself. If you’re a fan of energetic fun guys like me, submit an application ASAP! If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.
