My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog H:7Benjamin is a playful, social, toy-loving goofball who’s ready to bounce his way into your life. At just 1.6 years old and 81 lbs, this young pup is equal parts cuddle bug and zoomie machine—he loves romping with other dogs, chasing squeaky toys, and showing off his “sit” and “down” like a pro (especially if treats are involved). Benjamin is smart, affectionate, and eager to please, but he’s still learning the ropes. He can be a bit mouthy and excitable, especially when he’s having a blast, and he may guard his food or water around other dogs. That’s why he’s looking for an experienced adopter who can offer structure, consistent training, and all the love he deserves. In playgroups, he’s friendly and bouncy—happily hopping and chasing with his dog pals. He’d thrive in a home with another well-matched, playful pup or as your solo adventure sidekick.
