Hank

My story

Hank is a 5 year old, male Golden at about 80lbs, being surrendered as we were told his family "could not keep up with cleaning up after him and his grooming".  We are told by our GRRAND volunteer that "Hank is a handsome, fun, playful golden who likes humans and other dogs but would do best as the only dog in the home. He likes to walk with you, or just lean into you for scratchies. Hank the Golden is mild mannered, yet curious about his surroundings. There is nothing like a good sniff walk to get his day going." "Hank is uper sweet and a very happy guy, and he loves his ball! He will happily run for it which will help him on his weight loss journey, as he is a few lbs overweight. He's super cuddly, yet fairly energetic but he knows how to calm down. Hank would do best as an only dog in the home, but when it comes to people, he loves pretty much everyone he meets! Hank will need a family with the time and patience to be committed to working with him on all things, as he has not had any direction in the past. He will need plently of exercise and training as he is a good natured dog, and with a good family to work with him, he will make a fabulous family member!" Hank is said to have lived with a cat, but GRRAND has not cat tested him, and we are told he has resource guarded but we sre still learning aout him, so with that, it would be best for him to go to a home with no small children.
