My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:Salem was in the den, hunched at the back and postured as if to flee, with large pupils. She slightly sniffed the treats and then allowed all petting while remaining somewhat tense and not appearing to appreciate the attention. She's a sweet cat who likely needs extra time to warm up in her new home.Salem tolerates attention and petting but appears to be moderately fearful or stressed in the shelter. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home.
