My story

Hi my name is Chloe. I’m am an 8 years old spayed female cat. It’s been said that I look “like a cupcake” (from a little girl when she saw me in my kennel at the shelter). I have beautiful calico colors mostly on top of my snowy white soft and silky body. I’m quite pretty and so soft to the touch! They say I’m “special needs” because I came in to the shelter sick with a urinary tract infection and wasn’t using my litter box. After successfully being treated with antibiotics, I have consistently used the litter box while in the shelter and at my foster mom’s house. I’m feeling better now!I very much enjoy human interaction (attention, head and back rubs, and light conversation) and a bit of play but I especially enjoy private time in a quiet environment. I am very gentle and sensitive, preferring minimal fuss and not too much activity. I hang out a lot in my cat condo dreaming of my perfect home. I would rather not share my personal space with other cats and dogs, especially when I’m eating or using my litter box, but I’m not aggressive at all and would rather just retreat to my favorite spot to hang out. My foster mom does have 2 dogs, both calm and cat friendly, but I haven’t been interested yet in getting to know them. I just look at them kindly from behind the dog gate and don’t make a fuss. I’m a light eater, preferring free feeding of a tasty dry food, per my foster mom, and appreciate fresh water in my water bowl. I was introduced to a “water fountain” and have tried it but haven’t made up my mind about it yet.I would love to have another chance at a forever home, if you are willing to give me the opportunity to show you what a sweet and lovable kitty I can be in an easy going environment.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt CHLOE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
