My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I am looking for a home with a patient person.I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets. Bella came forward for treats and appreciates general attention, allowing petting on the head and along the back while eating squeeze-up and Temptations. He can become a little bit hand-shy, and it's best to go slow with him, but he's a sweet cat who has improved since his last assessment.Bello interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior. A volunteer writes: Bello's condo looks like a classic cat party house with jewel toned toys occupying each corner. For all of his fun decorations, however, I don't think Bello's very much of a party cat. Sitting on his condo ledge and coming forward to sniff my hand, Bello gives the impression that the shelter isn't really the party he wants to be at. Except, this Care Center party has snacks. Bello loves squeeze up treats and offering them are mostly the key to Bello's friendship and attention. When the treats aren't there, Bello seems like he isn't sure which way he wants to go and I can't say I blame him for that. When Bello's person had to move, he was left in the care of someone else and then brought to us to help him get started on that next step.
