My story

Three words to describe Binx; a black cat. Inquisitive, calculating, and classy. In his early days of exploration, he discovered the wonder of hiding underneath my bed; which involved the strength and athleticism required to open and close the shelving unit. The pure ingenuity of this strapping young lad is palpable. Attesting to his inquisitive and calculating nature; when initially meeting Binx, he was careful not to lay out all of his cards in the first hand. He surveyed the new environment and sought out cover, elusive as the leaf-tailed gecko. It was through the irresistible scent of a freshly opened salmon flavored Churu that he realized it was not only a safe place for him to be seen, but one where he was welcomed with open arms. From there on out it was nothing but pure love. These days he is content to follow me around the apartment with an insatiable desire to receive all the love and affection he can. Head scratches? Definitely. Cheek scratches? You know it. If “Form and Positioning to Receive Pets from Humans” were an Olympic sport, he would certainly be a medal recipient. He excels in arithmetic, latin, and humanities. Please note there is a long standing rivalry between him and his nemesis; the red laser. Tread carefully. Dietary preferences; LOVES-salmon HATES-liver WILL TOLERATE-chicken His best friend is a colonial zombie named Billy, they will reconnect once a year on Halloween.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Binx, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
