Meet Annabelle Marie – A Mama with a Heart Full of Love  Sometimes, the ones with the hardest beginnings end up being the most special. That’s the story of Annabelle Marie, a stunning Saddle Back German Shepherd with a gentle soul and a heart as big as Texas. Annabelle Marie came to us from the Orange, Texas animal shelter, where she was surrendered as a pregnant mama on the brink of giving birth. It was a race against time—but Annabelle held on, and on March 1st, she brought 11 healthy, beautiful puppies into the world. From the moment she arrived, Annabelle showed us just how strong and nurturing she is. She was a wonderful mother—patient, attentive, and loving. Now that her puppies are weaned and finding their own paths, it's Annabelle's turn to be cared for and cherished. Annabelle is now living with her foster mom, enjoying the well-earned peace and quiet of recovery. She's vaccinated, microchipped, and scheduled to be spayed on July 1st. Annabelle is also heartworm positive, but she’s undergoing a gentle slow-kill treatment with only limited activity restrictions. But none of this slows her down—Annabelle is a sweetheart through and through. She’s affectionate without being clingy, and she lives for full-body rubs, hugs, and all the praise you can give. She walks beautifully on a leash, loves playing fetch, and is a dream in the car. Whether it’s a morning stroll or a quiet cuddle on the couch, Annabelle is just happy to be with her people. Annabelle Marie is ready for a forever family who will love her as deeply as she loves in return.
