My story

Meet Darla — The Queen of Chill and Cuddles! This gorgeous girl was found as a stray, but she’s clearly meant to be someone’s pampered house cat. Darla is about 1.5 years old, already spayed, healthy, dewormed, and tested negative for all communicable diseases. The only thing she’s missing is a microchip (we’ll fix that!). Darla is a total sweetheart. She loves affection, enjoys being held like a baby, and has no “don’t touch me” zones—she’s even cool with belly and paw pets! She’s laid-back, affectionate, and will gently meow to get your attention when she wants love. She’s playful but past the wild kitten phase, and she’s already litter box trained (even uses horse pellet bedding like a champ!). What else to know: • She’s a big girl—her tail is 14 inches long! • She’s gaining weight and confidence after likely being dumped and underfed. • She’s cautious around new cats (may hiss if they get too close), but has coexisted peacefully in the same room. • Dogs? Not her jam. She may tolerate a very calm, disinterested one, but a no-dog home would be ideal. • She’s adjusted well to new spaces (garage, guest room), so a smooth home transition is likely.
