My story

Come and meet me in the play yard Saturday 6/7 from 12:00pm to 12:45pm! Hi there! My name is Pretzel and I’m a neutered, 5-month-old, Pit Bull mix who currently weighs 37lbs. I’m still growing and could be over 80lbs as an adult. I’m an affectionate and playful boy who is looking for a loving family that understands my special needs don’t make me any less loveable! I am hearing and seeing impaired, as well as a little bit wobbly. But don’t you worry, I still love to run and play just like all the other puppies. My new family should be prepared for puppy energy and understand that a doggie like me is totally trainable through adaptive communication methods. Patience is the key! I’m also an expert kiss giver and snuggler so get ready for an adorable, playful, energetic puppy with so much love to give! Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
