My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I can go home today!I have lived with cats in my previous home.I'm an independent kitty who likes to do my own thing.I am a sweet, social, older gal, looking for the perfect forever home!Lorenzo appreciates attention and petting but appears to be moderately fearful or stressed in the shelter. She will likely need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that she go to an adult-only home with some cat experience preferred or at least be well counseled in fearful cat behavior.A volunteer writes: Friendly and good natured, Lorenzo has recently found herself in a bit of a bind. She's determined to work through it the only way she knows how - with all her love and the persistent hope that things will turn around for her soon. Brought to us with other cats when their person could no longer care for them, Lorenzo's been welcoming new friends by gently tucking her head for pets and kneading her paws like it's the best thing ever and maybe right now it is. At approximately 12 years old, Lorenzo has a whole breadth of experience she calls on when meeting new people and though the shelter is pretty new, she's been working on learning new things. When she first came in, Lorenzo was feeling a little shy and she is looking for a patient family, but we're so fortunate to see more sides of her personality each day.
