My story

Meet Kitty Ottoman! Really? That’s her name? Whatever… she’s cute. This 8-year-old grey-and-cream lady is a bit shy at first, but don’t let her reserved nature fool you—she absolutely melts for gentle affection. After a few quiet minutes and a soft voice, she’ll stretch her way out of hiding and lean into your hands, asking for more pets with slow blinks and tiny head nudges. Kitty Ottoman was surrendered after being bullied by another cat in the home. She tried to be friendly—offering grooming sessions—but it wasn’t reciprocated. She might do well with another cat who is clearly cat-social and calm, but she'd also be perfectly content as your one-and-only. She’s still adjusting to shelter life, occasionally grumbling at things (or cats) outside her room, but each day she’s gaining confidence and showing more of her sweet, quiet personality. She has no known history with dogs or children, so a calm home—possibly with older kids after a meet—is where she’ll shine best. If you’ve got a soft spot for underappreciated royalty and a quiet home to share, Kitty Ottoman is ready to take her rightful place by your side. (Probably in a sunbeam.)
