Birdie the Early Bird is worth the wait. This 3-year-old black-and-white beauty may be shy at first, but once she trusts you, her true colors shine: snuggly, loyal, playful, and full of heart. She thrives on attention from her people and loves a good game of fetch or some rowdy playtime with her dog friends. Birdie is looking for a calm, adult-only home with a quiet routine and patient humans who will let her come out of her shell on her own terms. She’s done well with other dogs, though she can get a little too into her toys now and then—so a watchful eye during play is best. If you believe in the power of trust, Birdie will show you what it means to be someone’s whole world.
