Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption fee: $650 Meet Meow – The Gentle Soul With a Cat’s Name and a Heart Full of Love Meow may have the name of a feline, but he’s all dog— an 11 lb, 1–2 year-old Maltese/Yorkie type mix with a wire wash-and-wear type coat, the softest eyes and the sweetest disposition. His rescue story is as unique as his name: Meow was found living in a feral cat colony and actually walked right into a humane trap set for a cat, as if to say, “I’m ready for my new life- take me with you!” Since coming into foster care, Meow has shown himself to be a tender-hearted, affectionate pup who simply wants to be near his people. He’s not interested in toys but loves all people he meets. He's comfortable hanging out in a doggy sling with our volunteers while they do chores, sitting on the sofa while his foster mom works, or hanging out on a dog bed with his doggy foster sibling. A Day in the Life of Meow: 6:15 AM – He wakes up, drinks water, and goes outside for a potty break. 7:00 AM – Breakfast, followed by a morning walk at 7:30 AM. During the day, Meow sticks close to whoever is home (usually his foster dad), following them gently from room to room. On sunny days, he meows at the door to go outside and will happily lounge on the outdoor couch. In the evening, he enjoys a 5:30 PM walk, dinner at 6:00 PM, and snuggling on the couch until bedtime. Meow was not a fan of his crate at first, but with some patient crate training, he's learned to settle in and relax. Meow's Personality: Loving, gentle, and a true cuddle bug – His happiest place is your lap. He loves car rides, being brushed, and staying warm. On leash, he’s calm and loyal— no pulling, no marking, just walking right beside you like your little shadow. Meow would do best in a loving home where someone is around most of the day or want to take him with them on errands, etc. He is a great co-pilot and not a big barker - happy to meet people and let himself be pet. Meow will love you with quiet devotion and unwavering loyalty.May 1, 2025, 1:13 pm
