My story

The first thing you notice is the chomping sound of eating, Or her loud loving purring. Her sweet voice pulls you close. And you feel brighter when she comes near. She want to nestle close, Even right on your shoes. You grab a toy and her fluffy sunset fur prances. She pounces at the toys . Indeed she never forgets the play. She always needs a cuddle after. Her round body brushes against your legs for some attention. And her eyes start to close as she falls asleep by your side. -------------------------- This poem was written by Shianne, a student in Mrs. Enck's English class at Carlynton Junior - Senior High School.
