Meet Shadow – The Gentle Giant! Shadow is a 5-year-old, 75–80 lb sweet soul who’s been waiting far too long for a second chance. Surrendered in November 2022 due to his family’s financial struggles, he ended up in a shelter that sadly never lets dogs leave. Despite it all, Shadow has remained calm, loving, and incredibly well-behaved.This laid-back boy is quiet around the house and happiest just being near his people. He lived peacefully with a small dog and children in his former home, and he’s still great with both! While he might pull on leash when excited, he listens well, does great in a crate, and is an excellent car rider.Shadow is the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much—just a family to love, a comfy spot to relax, and someone to share his big, kind heart with. He’s the perfect mix of mellow and affectionate, and would make a wonderful companion for a lucky family.
