My story

Meet Milo Moe- Your New Snuggle Buddy! Milo Moe is an exceptionally affectionate boy whose favorite hobbies include head bunts and enjoying cat trees. He is very calm and is perfectly content just hanging with you and accepting head scratches.  While not a “lap cat”, he loves being close to you, be it on a chair, the couch, or the bed.   Milo is also very polite, and hasn’t shown interest in chomping on plants or getting up to other nefarious deeds. He can be a little shy with new people and slow to find his voice, but once he gets  comfortable he’s the best little pal you’ve ever had. Milo lived in a home previously where he enjoyed sleeping, window watching and soaking up fresh air and sun in the backyard. After basking in the sun and some quick running around, Milo enjoys eating his favorite food, tuna.  He is also a sensitive boy who would also do best in an adult-only home, since he gets anxious in new spaces and tends to hide when overwhelmed. Milo has lived in a home with a small dog before and seems to prefer super chill dogs his own size, so he could repeat that set-up again. Milo was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism (not to be confused with the more common hyperthyroidism) and takes a teeny tiny pill daily in a bit of food, to keep his thyroid levels functioning optimally! Hypothyroidism is a chronic condition, so we expect Milo will take this medication for life, but thankfully it is fairly inexpensive and readily available online or through your chosen vet's office. PAWS is the city's largest rescue partner and provider of low-cost, basic veterinary care. Through our adoption locations, special events, and network of foster homes, PAWS finds loving homes for thousands of animals every year. PAWS is working to make Philadelphia a no-kill city where every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home.  Please visit  www.phillypaws.org  for more information on adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.   April 30, 2025, 4:31 pm
