My story

Bagel is a 3-month-old bundle of soft fur, purrs, and growing confidence. Recently rescued from a feral cat colony but too young to be returned to the wild, Bagel and his siblings (Pumpernickel & Muffin) get the good life treatment with our wonderful fosters. Bagel began his foster journey as a shy and cautious little guy. But day by day, he’s been blossoming into a curious kitten who has started to warm up to being pet! He doesn’t mind being held, and is slowly starting to seek out human affection and attention. Bagel loves playing with his toys and exploring new places. It is important to note he is still doing some time in his cage training (for him it’s prison) but is having more and more monitored playtime outside of his cage. Bagel would do well in a calm and patient home that understands he’s still adjusting to indoor life and is willing to continue helping him build confidence. He’d thrive in a home with another friendly cat to learn from and bond with, as he’s shown a natural interest in feline companionship. A home without too much chaos, and with people who will offer gentle encouragement, would be ideal. All cats and kittens are rescued from the streets, abandoned, or pulled from at-risk list at city shelter. All are vaccinated, tested for FIV and FELV, dewormed, and spayed/neutered (if old enough). If the kitten is not old enough to be spayed/neutered we will do so at a later date, post-adoption. All adoptions require an application and donation.
