My story

It’s the kind of rainy day ☔️ that makes you want to cancel your plans, make a cup of tea 🍵, and just be still. Toothpick, age 12, is the perfect cat for that kind of life—and frankly, he’s earned it. He’s not flashy. Not super into toys. Not swayed by treats. But what he is… is quietly devoted. Unbothered. A connoisseur of stillness. A cat who will follow you from room to room 🚶‍♂️🐈‍⬛ and settle just near enough to remind you you’re not alone. He’s got a trim little physique, a distinguished tuxedo 🖤, and the most perfectly straight, slightly dramatic whiskers—like little toothpicks, really. I like to call him Mr. Toothpick, if we’re being formal. He’ll give you a theatrical meow and flash his teeth when he wants back pats (specifically on his booty 🍑 —he’s very clear about that). Toothpick doesn’t do wild nights. He does calm. He does presence. He does loyalty. He’s the ideal cat-friend for your quiet evenings, rainy mornings, and mid-afternoon WFH breaks. ☁️ 0% chaos ❤️ 100% good dude 🛋️ Practiced in the fine art of snugglin up If your love language is mutual respect, low-stakes companionship, and warm silence, Mr. Toothpick is ready to move in. Let’s get this guy the calm, cozy home he deserves. ♨️ The radiator is warm. He’s waiting. All cats and kittens are rescued from the streets, abandoned, or pulled from at-risk list at city shelter. All are vaccinated, tested for FIV and FELV, dewormed, and spayed/neutered (if old enough). If the kitten is not old enough to be spayed/neutered we will do so at a later date, post-adoption.
