My story

Twig  3 years, neutered male, 15 lbs Chihuahua mix    PERSONALITY TRAITS: Twig bonds very quickly with people, showing lots of affection. In public, Twig is slowly overcoming his shy tendencies. He has been working on walks and getting used to unpredictable noise and movements. He is athletic and smart.   LIKES: He enjoys lap time, people watching through the window, or hanging out to watch TV. He does enjoy walks, and his nose tells him where to go. He loves to run around indoors to play with his toys and people and enjoys running in the yard.   DISLIKES: Twig is easy to please, and just needs to build some confidence on his walks.   CRATE TRAINING: He sleeps in a crate. He has been introduced to car rides in a crate where he does well, not a peep.   POTTY TRAINING: Twig is potty trained in his foster home.   OTHER/MISC: With Twig's smart and active personality, he needs an active home with daily walks and opportunities and a place to run around. He will need continued leash training to become confident on walks and a patient trainer who can reassure him. Filling out an application in no way guarantees you a dog or a response email as we get hundreds of applications and choose the best home for the dog. Distemper/Parvo boosters,  and rabies shot, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery are included with the adoption fee.  You will also receive a PetSmart puppy packet with hundreds of dollars of savings, a FREE bag of food, 30 minute private training session with a certified dog trainer, and a free checkup at Banfield.  Potential adopters must live within 30 miles of Eugene, Oregon. If you live outside the 30 mile radius, still send us an email, as we will can make exceptions if the circumstances are optimal for the dog or puppy. ##2361454##
