Meet Amy – Your New Furry Best Friend!Adoption Fee: $76 + tax | Trial Adoptions Available!Amy is a 3-year-old tabby cat with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love—just waiting for the right family to notice her. She came to the shelter after being abandoned by her previous owners and left at someone’s home. Despite her rough start, Amy has remained a sweet and easygoing girl who's ready for a fresh start.She is FELV/FIV/Heartworm NEGATIVE and up to date on all her vaccines. Amy is also litterbox trained, which makes her an easy addition to almost any home.Amy has done well around dogs and hasn’t reacted negatively to any of the other cats at the shelter, though we’re not sure how she’d do in a home with feline companions. We’re also unsure how she feels about children—but that’s why we offer trial adoptions, to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone!She loves being loved on and getting attention but is just as happy finding a cozy spot to curl up for a long cat nap. She has a lovely, independent personality and would do well in a calm, patient home that lets her settle in at her own pace.If you’re looking for a low-maintenance companion with a sweet disposition and a soft purr, Amy might be the perfect match. Come meet her—you just might fall in love. 🐾💛Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
