My story

Meet Sadie! This wonderful girl is just the best! Sadie was found on an abandoned property, with a large litter of puppies. Unfortunately another organization took all of her puppies and left Sadie behind. We had to help her and we are so glad we did! Sadie is wonderful. Sadie is in a foster home with quite a few other dogs, big and small. She loves them all. Our foster also has a cat and Sadie does playfully chase her but won't hurt her. Sadie is easy-going in the home now that she has settled in. When she first arrived in her foster home she was unsettled and paced around a bit. She had lived her life outside before coming to us so it was quite an adjustment for her. Sadie is so loving and kind. She is playful and loves throwing some toys in the air in the yard.  From her foster mom: Sadie has really settled into living life in a house with beds and toys! She loves carrying toys around, especially if she can take them outside. She's great with my little dogs, although, she has no idea how big she is so they get tired of it after a while. She is pretty indifferent to my cat, but she does try and get him to play with her and he lets her know he doesn't like it. She never reacts to him swatting at her. She also did great with other big dogs that she's met along the way. She really is the sweetest, smartest girl. Even though she lived outside most (if not all) her life, she had absolutely no accidents in the house from the start, so fully potty trained! She plays by herself a lot and has no problem settling down at night when we all go to bed - but definitely has her zoomies so will need regular exercise. She follows me around the yard when I'm outside doing yard work. She would be an ideal dog for someone who is looking for a cuddle buddy who also likes to go hiking or for walks.  The best family for Sadie would be active or have another playful dog in the house. Sadie will be the best family dog. Truly a catch.  She is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
