My story

Sissy (grey tabico) and Chrissy (calico) started life as feral kittens and only socialized to a couple of humans, they are still very shy with new people. Their former owner had to enter a nursing home, so they are searching for someone that can give them love and patience. However, they will both open up to you and will become your little sweethearts! Sissy will open up first. She is a closet lap kitty. As soon as you gain her trust she will sit on your lap and insist on pets and neck scratches. Chrissy will take more time to get comfortable with new people, but once acclimated to her new humans, she wants to sleep under the covers with you! They both just need a patient human / family willing to put in a little effort to gain their trust and affection. They deserve a loving home and to be given a chance to get comfortable with their humans. That involves starting them off in a small room and giving them lots of attention daily. We would be happy to help you work with them and give you tips while working through the acclimation period. Sissy and Chrissy enjoy playing with their humans as well as automatic electronic toys. They love to play on their kitty condos and fall asleep while watching the birds and squirrels outside the window. Remember that they will be shy when you meet them so you will need to take a small leap of faith and just give them a chance at love!! Their love is worth it!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sissy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
