My story

Meet Odette!Breed Guess: Labrador Retriever mix                    Age: Puppy @ 12 weeks old  Weight: 8lb.  Other Animals: Odette is great with other dogs of all ages but she loves to be around other small dogs! A little shy at first but once they get to know each other a bit it's playtime!! Not sure about large dogs, cats, or other animals as she hasn't met any yet. She has learned to respect other dogs corrections. Kids: has not met any yet. Calm respectful children can be considered.House training: Working on it but progressing well. She goes pretty quickly when we take her outside and has had minimal accidents in the house. Her foster is not using pee pads with her, just taking her outside frequently. Exercise needs: She needs 3-4 dedicated playtime sessions per day. She loves to run around with other dogs and chase balls and other toys! Leash walking is still a work in progress but ideally a moderate walk or two would be beneficial. What she's great at: She is a very quick learner! She is doing great with her potty training, even asking at the door to go outside! She has also already learned "sit" and is working on some other commands. What she's working on: She is still getting used to alone time in her crate and playpen, but she is improving every day. She is also very curious and thinks everything (including hands) is a toy to chew on, so she often needs to be redirected to actual toys. Personality: She was a bit timid at first, but warmed up to her foster quickly. She is super sweet and affectionate, and she loves to cuddle just as much as she loves to play with toys! She is so much fun to watch and play with as she is very silly and goofy as well. Odette's Story: Found on the streets of St. Thomas with her sisters Orla and Essence. Dream Home: She would love a home and fenced yard with plenty of space to run around and play, and she would love to be around other dogs that can handle her puppy energy. ##2368039##
