My story

MAXINE is a beautiful short-haired grey young female teenager kitty with a small white patch just below her chin. She is sweet and affectionate – and will follow you to the ends of the earth for some attention! She loves her humans and is also comfortable around other cats and dogs. She likes being picked up and will grab onto your hand if you stop petting her, to ask for more! She is playful and likes boxes and balls. Maxine was found abandoned in a small cat carrier along with her brother MAXWELL. Thanks to a kind soul, they were rescued and turned over to CRAN--and the whole experience didn't seem to faze them at all. Maxine will likely adapt to a new situation quickly. She is seeking a forever home. If you have room in your heart for two, she would love to be adopted with her brother Maxwell. MAXINE has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for FeLV and FIV. Her adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.   You can meet MAXINE at the cattery inside our partner PetSmart in South Eugene (2858 Willamette St).  Please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store, and an adoption counselor will contact you to set up a meet and greet.   The $155 adoption fee ($280 for 2 teenagers) allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene / Springfield community.
