My story

Smart, confident STAR is a beautiful female black and gray tabby teenager kitty with lots of love to offer. She has dramatic stripes and spots! She delights in batting her pompom balls around the room, playing wand toy with her favorite human and crawling into her foster's lap for pets, a good cuddle and a nap. Light toys she can carry in her mouth are her favorites, and she will entertain herself for hours. She is an energetic sweetheart who will do best in a home with an animal friend (cat or dog) to keep her company. She is eager to make friends with new cats, and has learned that some dogs make good playmates too. Star is ready now to scamper and play, and to be your loving companion! Star had a significant heart murmur when she was younger, and has been on an easily-administered blood thinner.  Her latest echo cardiogram shows her heart issues have resolved, and she is now being weaned off of the thinner.  CRAN will be doing a follow-up echo cardiogram in February, after which she should only need occasional monitoring. STAR has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and her adoption package includes a free wellness visit with one of our vet partners. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. Her $70 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
