My story

Hello everyone, my name is Rexie! I’m a 1.5-year-old Australian Kelpie mix, spayed, weighing around 45 pounds — just the right size for adventures and cuddles alike! I have a fun-loving spirit with tons of spunk and energy, but I’m also incredibly calm, gentle, and well-mannered when it’s time to relax. I truly am the best of both worlds: ready to play when you are, but happy to settle down by your side afterward. I get along great with other dogs and would love a furry sibling to play with, but I’m also perfectly content soaking up all the attention from my human friends. I’m fully house-trained and kennel-trained, which means I’m a polite house guest and a great companion for a busy family. I’m especially wonderful with children — patient, loving, and always ready for a game or a cuddle session. While I can be a little shy around men when we first meet, I warm up with just a little patience and kindness. Once I trust you, I’m incredibly loyal and affectionate. I promise I’m worth the wait! One of my absolute favorite things in the world is being outside. Whether it’s going for walks, running around the backyard, hiking, or just lying in the sun, I’m happiest with the breeze in my fur and the grass under my paws. An active family or someone who loves outdoor adventures would be my dream match!
