My story

Name: Tinsel Age: 8 months Breed (as listed on paperwork): Mom is American Eskimo Gender: Female Weight: 18 lbs Altered:No Crate Trained: Working on it Housebroke: Working on it Good with kids: Yes Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Yes Foster location: Wisconsin Rapids Fee: $250 (with a seperate $100 deposit check that is shredded with proof of completetion of spay/neuter) includes monthly preventatives, deworming, age appropriate heartworm testing (or treatment) age appropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption, microchip and health certificate. Please apply for me at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HFAH/Dog (403644-DS) Due to the amount of no shows we are now requiring a $50 deposit. If you adopt this will come off your adoption fee. If you meet and it’s not a good fit you will be refunded. If you cancel or no show it’s non refundable. **Meet and greets for approved applicants must happen within 3 days or the closest weekend (for long travelers). It’s in the dogs/puppies best interest to be placed into their furever homes in a timely fashion. All household members must attend the meet and greet. This sweet girl is on the market for her forever family! Tinsel can be shy and timid when first meeting new people, however given a little time and some treats she will warm up to you. Tinsel is making progress with going potty outside and does best on a schedule. She still has accidents in her crate when left for more than 4-5 hours, but continues to work on it. Tinsel enjoys playing with other dogs, having experience with both big and small dogs. She loves to run! A fenced yard would be ideal, however she could learn to run with her humans too. She is still learning to walk on a leash and currently spends the first few minutes circling her foster mom as they walk, but after that she has it figured out. Tinsel does well riding in the car. Tinsel likes to alert her foster family of strangers in the yard or passing by, so apartment life isn’t her thing. Tinsel does well with her foster sister who is 9. She likes to snuggle on her terms, but if you settle down for the night she is happy hanging out on the couch with a bone or watching out the window. Tinsel will kennel for treats and knows how to sit. Her recall is getting pretty good also. Tinsel would love a family who will provide her with endless love, belly rubs, and treats! She would love to be with someone who is able to spend a little more time at home, who is active, and willing to continue teacher how to be the best girl possible.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tinsel, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
