Submit application to meet dog if interested - yes an application is required******** Meet Pepper. After Pepper's beloved owner passed away, she is looking for her forever family. Pepper is, we believe, schnauzer mixed with poodle, she is 7 years old and weighs 13 pounds. She absolutely loves to play, and will play all day if allowed! She absolutely loves being with people, and gets along very well with other dogs. We would require her new home to have another dog for her to play with and get her energy out! She also is fine with cats and other than sniffing them pays no attention. Pepper is house trained but does require supervision and regular access to outdoors, she is crate trained, and is very cuddly (happiest on a lap). Please consider opening your heart to sweet Pepper. She's ready to shower her human with so much love and affection. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs. All our dogs have been treated with de-wormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 months or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption. We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts. We are in the Rochester NY area and adopt dogs out to area residents. We are registered in NY State with the Dept of Agriculture RR #033 and a registered 501c3 Non-Profit.
