Submit application to meet dog if interested - yes an application is required******** Meet Joy! She is a 9 pound 1.5 year old mini poodle pup who was rescued from a puppy mill. Joy LOVES attention and has already found a fondness for toys. She likes to collect them mostly! She is learning how to play with other dogs as well. Due to her history of being a mill dog, we require her forever family to have another friendly dog in the house to help her learn and gain more confidence. We also require a fenced in yard to keep her safe and give her room to play. Joy is beautifully crate trained and does not have accidents in there. She is still working on potty training, so her family will need to have the patience to help her learn. Joy has a lot of zip in her which is so fun to watch (especially when she gets the zoomies)! We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs. All our dogs have been treated with de-wormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 months or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption. We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
