My story

Looking for a mellow best friend with great house manners and a loving heart? Tula is waiting to meet you! Tula is an 8 year old, sweet Cattle Dog mix who came into care after being found as a stray in December 2024 and brought to a local shelter. Now in a loving foster home, she’s thriving with gentle care and routine. Shortly after arrival, Tula was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, but with daily medication, her thyroid levels are improving—and she’s feeling great! Tula is a quiet soul with a proud bark to announce visitors (or the occasional doorbell ringtone). She’s incredibly affectionate, loves belly rubs, gives kisses freely, and will rest her head gently in your hand. She’s great with other dogs, very polite with treats, and adores relaxing at your feet with a toy close by. House trained, non-destructive, and low-shedding, Tula enjoys several walks a day, followed by cozy naps on the couch. She’s a calm, loving companion who’s already bringing so much joy. Tula is a sweet, calm, and affectionate dog who’s very close to perfect. She’s low-maintenance in the home, loves her people deeply, and is ready to bring joy, cuddles, and a little bit of playful charm to her forever home.
