Ginger

My story

A27282 Ginger is an orange colored, approximately 9-month-old, 6-pound, spayed female, Domestic Short-Haired Cat. She entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 04-21-2025 due to the fact she had too many cats. Ginger is a friendly, but timid and shy girl here in the shelter. She is young and still trying to figure out this shelter environment and why she is here. Our staff describes her as hesitant at first but once she is comfortable, she will be leaning into your head scratches. She would do best in a quiet home with a patient owner who will give her time to decompress. In the playroom she cautiously explored for a moment but ultimately picked a safe cubby to watch the room from. Ginger will be a loyal, loving companion in her new forever home. She is bonded with her sister Aurora and they must be adopted together.
