Jade

My story

A27410 Jade is a black colored, approximately 4-year-old, 9-pound, spayed female, Domestic Long-Haired Cat. She entered the shelter as a stray on 04-27-2025 and was altered by our medical staff. Jade is a friendly, timid, shy girl here in the shelter. She currently stays in the back of her kennel, trying to figure out the shelter environment. She is scared and unsure, trying to figure it out. She will need a patient owner who will give her time to decompress and get comfortable. We would recommend a home with no children, as she is scared, and their quick movements would not help her adjust. Our staff says she enjoys affection and will lean into head and neck rubs. But if there was any strange noise, she is ready to hide in a cubby. She was picked up with Emerald and they may be siblings, but they do not appear bonded. We think her personality will really come out when she is comfortable in a new home. Jade will be a loving family member in her new forever home.
