Meet Muji - a young domestic shorthair cat with a sleek black coat that is ready to steal your heart. Named after a simple, smooth eraser, Muji has a gentle, quiet presence that brings a sense of calm wherever she goes. While she is a little shy, she is quick to warm up to you and will always want to be pet! We think that she would do well with cat savvy kids, who can give her time to get comfortable and show her affection how she wants. With her sleek coat and sweet nature, she’s ready to erase any worries from your day and replace them with purrs and companionship. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
