My story

Meet Honey! She is a sweet, beautiful bundle of love who just wants to cuddle! Her gentle and graceful nature is hard to resist. She gets along with other dogs and cats. She is super playful and loves being next to her caretakers. Honey is in rescue because, sadly, her owner couldn’t take care of her any longer due to losing his house and job. Fortunately, our rescue was able to take her in and assure her that she will have a new loving family soon! She is a shy dog, so her best home would be with another dog to help her gain confidence. She could also be a single dog, but her adopter needs to help her gain confidence by properly socializing her and encouraging her with treats and rewards. Honey is 3 years old, weights 28lbs, is up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, 4dx tested: negative for heart worm, currently on flea/tick/heart worm prevention, and dewormed. She has a chance to come to New York in May, so we are looking for an adopter or foster or foster-to-adopt who would open their heart to this beautiful girl.   If you feel you would be the right fit for Honey, please fill out an adoption application at www.sosanimalwelfare.org, or email us for more info: sosanimalwelfare@gmail.com We look forward to hearing from you!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Honey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
