My story

Introducing Adam Driver, the toy fox terrier with pointy ears that would make even Spock raise an eyebrow! With his handsome white fur, he’s a starship captain in the making, always interested in his surroundings and eager to discover new things. Though he’s independent, he has a soft spot for other dogs and will warm up to humans once he’s had time to evaluate the situation (he’s got to make sure you’re not the Empire, after all). He can handle stairs all by himself, so no need for a droid (or a roomba in your house) to carry him around. Adam’s got the spirit of a true adventurer. Here's some notes from his foster: Adam is a special boy and is learning to navigate a new life. Each day brings new small victories for Adam…potty training is coming along nicely! Adam will bond deeply with his person and is full of love and affection. With his soulful eyes and sweet kisses, you will easily fall under his spell…I sure did! Adam’s deep devotion comes with some challenges, as he will guard his person against anyone or anything that he perceives as a threat. He seemed to have a fear of men but we have been working diligently with him and he now sits with my husband, takes treats and goes for walks with him. I believe with patience and love, Adam can learn to work through his insecurities and live his best life.
