Nova is a sweet, chill guy who's just waiting for the right person to curl up with. His previous family describes him as incredibly loving and friendly with his people. Nova is a big fan of the simple things in life: cozy cat naps, tasty treats, and a little sprinkle of catnip to brighten his day. While he can be a bit shy with new people at first, once he warms up, you'll see just how affectionate and easygoing he truly is. Nova has lived with other cats and even a husky, and he did great with both! He also got along well with older kids who gave him gentle attention and space when he needed it. If you're looking for a mellow companion with a heart full of love, Nova might just be your perfect match. Come meet him and see if he’s the chill cuddle buddy your home has been missing! Do you want to make a difference in a special kitty’s life? Consider adopting one of Dakin’s “Spirit Cats.” These cats are fearful of people and don’t require a lot of attention. What they do need is a place to park their paws in a quiet home where they’ll be loved just the way they are. One day, you may find that you’ve earned their trust and get head butts and maybe even a bedtime buddy. But there are no guarantees. Your visitors will never see them because they’ll quietly slip away and disappear into a closet. Spirit Cats may enjoy being around their own kind and sometimes make great companions for other cats. Are you ready to make a difference in a special kitty’s life? If you're ready to adopt now: Come on in during open adoption hours Tuesday - Saturday 12:30-3:00!
