My story

Sparky is a sweet, affectionate indoor cat looking for a new place to park his paws. He’s a quiet companion who loves being around people, including kids, and never turns down a good petting session (Disclaimer: stay away from the belly!). Sparky enjoys being picked up when he's in the mood. He’s playful with a special love for toys that jingle and wand toys that let him show off his pouncing skills. Sparky hasn't lived with other cats but lived with a dog whom he avoided. If you're looking for a friendly, gentle companion who will brighten your day with love and quiet charm, Sparky might be your purrfect match. If you're ready to adopt now: Come on in during open adoption hours Tuesday - Saturday 12:30-3:00! We are often on the line with another client, but we return voice mail and emails within 24 hours. All cat adoption fees include; -spay/neuter -rabies vaccine -current distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -FeLV/FIV blood test -microchip implanted & registered to the adopter -treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites -veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin -free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your new pet.
