My story

Thor may be named after a god of thunder, but he’s as gentle as a summer breeze. At 7 years old, this handsome German Shepherd was heartbreakingly dropped off at a vet clinic to be euthanized when his family decided they didn’t want him anymore. But Thor’s story didn’t end there — it’s just beginning. Despite everything he’s been through, Thor is incredibly sweet, calm, and trusting. He walks like a dream on a leash, loves quiet time, and has the kind of mellow, easygoing personality that makes him the perfect companion. He’s currently undergoing treatment for heartworms, and what he needs most right now is a peaceful place to rest, recover, and rediscover what love truly feels like. Thor is searching for a foster or forever home where he can heal — not just physically, but emotionally too. He deserves a family that sees him for the treasure he is, and one that will never give up on him again.
