My story

***Local adoption only: Dakota needs to be adopted by a family in the Central Florida region (Orlando area) who will commit to taking her to her follow-up puppy vetting appointments with PPR's vetting partner. These appointments have already been scheduled and their cost is covered in the adoption donation.*** Hi, I’m Dakota! I'm an 8 week old Labradoodle blend who is growing each and every day. We don't know how big I'll grow, but my mother is a 52 lb Standard Poodle. I'm looking for cuddles, kisses, and a family who will love me forever! General Behavior: Dakota is a shy sweetheart who is the gentle, quiet one of the litter. Likes & Dislikes: As a young puppy, Dakota is still exploring the big wide world, but she already loves toys: the more, the merrier! Training: As a relatively young pup, Dakota still has a lot to learn. She needs more practice with housetraining, walking on a leash, and basic manners, but she already loves car rides and sleeps in a dog bed at night. Medical: Dakota is a healthy girl! She still needs his final puppy vetting appointments. These have already been scheduled with PPR’s vetting partner, and her adopters must commit to taking her to these appointments. Their cost is covered in her adoption donation.  Other Animals: Dakota is good with other dogs of all sizes. She's even good with cats! Children: Dakota is good with children. Home: Dakota would do well whether downtown or down on the farm, whether she's in an apartment, condo, or single family. She just needs someone who is around more often than not in the early months especially to help with her training.    Grooming: We don't know how Dakota's coat will grow out long term, but given that her mother is a Standard Poodle/Labradoodle, she'll probably need regular brushing and professional grooming. Overall: Dakota will make a wonderful companion for a family who can raise her, train her, and love her forever. Can you help Dakota gain confidence and blossom into playful pup?
