My story

Microchipped, DOB January 28, 2018 Peaches is a sweet and gentle lady with a lot of love to give. She loves affection and wants to be wherever her humans are. She loves face rubs and is happiest when she has someone to snuggle with on the couch. She also gets along well with other cats, and has a playful side, with a particular fondness for anything catnip. She is very vocal; she makes lots of sweet noises and will meow for you when she wants attention. She also loves getting butt pats! Recently she has discovered the joy of hiding under a blanket, playing in her cat tunnel, and drinking directly from the tap. Her fur is brown tabby and white. Peaches has been diagnosed with Stage II kidney disease. This condition is progressive, but can be managed with a strict specialized diet, access to multiple sources of water, reduced environmental stressors, and regular blood work. Peaches had some litter-box issues that were mostly resolved by the introduction of a second box in a "low traffic" area in her foster home, but her adopter(s) should continue to monitor this. Peaches loves company, so she would do best in a home with either a friendly resident cat, or adopters who are home often to give her the attention she craves. She is a complete sweetheart and a love bug. She is very gentle, and once she settles in, she is unbothered by most things (even going to the vet!).

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Peaches, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
