What my friends at ACC say about me:Sunbeam tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.A volunteer writes: With his tail wrapped around his face like a big, fluffy, tangerine scarf, Sunbeam is trying to make it through the day without creating too many waves. He was found abandoned in a building with many other cats and settling into shelter life hasn't been the smoothest, though it's not for lack of trying. When he first came to us, Sunbeam really gave it his all - accepting pets and eating the treats we offered. He's been with us since April and, considering he's the type who needs a little extra patience., all that time without a family to call his own has left him sinking into his own tail scarf. Sunbeam is hoping to find a quiet and patient family who will welcome him and his safety scarf with the love he deserves. Primary Color: Orange Tabby Weight: 9.9 Age: 7yrs 0mths 3wks
