My story

My foster writes: Perry Beary! Perry is the sweetest, most adorable pup in the world! She is more than happy to nap next to you while you work at home or help you decompress after a long day with playtime and good walks. If you let her, Perry is more than happy to join you for cuddles on the couch, but she is very respectful, so if you don't feel like a 70lb cuddle monster is on the agenda today, she's more than happy to hang out on her own bed or in her crate.Perry loves fetch and food in equal amounts, so she's pretty easy to please. Potty trained and mild-mannered, Perry is the best!My temporary foster writes: Perry knows many commands and is learning command "let go" when ever she grabs the leash. She doesn't have leash reactivity. She doesn't pull while on walks. Has no reactivity to dogs and if curious she may focus a bit but not fixated and can be redirected by a small tug of her leash and the command "focus". She also has no reactivity to humans adults or little ones. She also has no reactivity to stray cats which we have many in our neighborhood. What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some canine body language together!I'm ready to learn! I need a patient person who has the time to work on training with me.I would do best in a home with only adult humans.
